August 14, 2005: Our bichon puppy was born today!
September 27, 2005: Today we get to take our bichon home. We named her “Julie”.
February 7, 2006: Julie is potty trained and plays well with everyone in the family, including our old 11 year old lab/border collie mix.
Bichon’s make great family dogs. They are generally good with kids, and extremely friendly. Our bichon loves be near people and is surprisingly calm for being only 1 year old.
After viewing this video and reading the comments posted , I have just purchased my first bichon puppy she is ten weeks old.. We name her Stormie and I am sure that we are going to love her. Thank you for your video and comments.

Looking to purchase a Bichon or Bichon mix
Would like one maybe a year old if possible,
we are a two person family,retired and at home most of the time, have a medium size yard.

I would like to know if Bichon’s are hard to potty train, or harder than average. I have heard that they are?? Just curious. I am wanting one and want to be well informed before I jump in. Thanks so much.
Tammy, our bichon was a breeze to potty train. Much easier than other dogs we have had. I don’t know if that is typical or not. Anyone else want to describe their bichon potty training?

hi we have a bichon she is 15 wks now! had her at 6 weeks old. we called her bella, she is our pride and joy. i am finding it hard getting her to to do her business out the back, she can be out there for ages and when she comes in she does it straight away on her puppy training mat! i have tryed putting her training mat outside but she still wont do it, can you recommend anything? many thanks cherie.xx

I have a bichon named julie. As a puppy she was always so hiper as a puppy. She always wanted to play. after a month or 2 she calmed down and we cuddle all the time. She is so cute. all my friends love her.
We are getting the cuttest bichon ever. His name is Lucky. My 10 yr old daughter loves him. He makes a wonderful family pet.
Bichons are the best little dogs in the world. They are so loving and enjoyable. I would never own any other breed. I have three and I wouldn’t take any amount of money for them. My 2 adults had 5 puppies on April 13th and I wanted to keep all of them. I soon realized that 7 Bichons are really a handfull and decided to sell 3 of my puppies. I kept my littlest one named Co Co and found the best owners for the other 3. I met with each of the prospective owners and until I felt like they were good enough did I sell them. I am so possessive of my grand puppies! I have 3 people coming over to meet my last puppy for sale tomorrow. Lei Lei will make someone happy soon but, only if they deserve her. I sent a picture of Lei Lei so everyone could see her. She has personality plus and demands your attention. It won’t be easy to see her go.
