Debbie, first of all, Bichon is spelled BICHON, and second, this bichon is a puppy and her "real" undercoat hasnt even fully come in yet. We all LOVE our bichons, I don't think this site is for people to make fun of others loved bichons.

Alexandra, your "baby" Bella looks like she is totally LOVED!!! Congratulations! I have a a 5 year old full breed bichon named Snowflake A.K.A. "SNOOFY" and I used to dress her up when she was a puppy, but she never would keep her hair clips in. As she got older and I became an educated bichon owner, I learned alot about the breed and the up-keep of her coat. I really like the Bichon "puffy powder-puff" look, and I have been grooming her myself for the past 2 years. At first it was scarey (she didnt look like a bichon, :) but now I have been getting better and she has the nice little round head! HOWEVER, I have to brush her ALOT, so she doesnt get knots. BUT....YOU KNOW....I WOULD LOVE HER NO MATTER WHAT SHE LOOKED LIKE!!!! She is MY BABY!!!!
